Dear Parent/Guardian,
We are excited to offer a unique wellness experience for our students with a Sound Bath Session, facilitated by a certified sound practitioner. This session is designed to promote relaxation, emotional regulation, and sensory integration through the use of therapeutic sound frequencies.
What is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is a gentle, immersive experience where participants are βbathedβ in soothing sounds produced by instruments such as crystal singing bowls, chimes, and gongs. These sounds help calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and support emotional well-being.
Why is this beneficial for your child?
Students with disabilities often experience heightened sensory sensitivities, stress, or difficulty with emotional regulation. Sound therapy has been shown to:
Promote deep relaxation and reduce stress
Support focus and attention
Encourage emotional balance
Provide a non-verbal outlet for self-expression
Foster a sense of calm and safety
This session will be conducted in a quiet, supportive environment with accommodations tailored to each studentβs needs. Participation is voluntary, and students may opt out at any time during the session.
